well newcastle ended up being super fun, i went to an indoor waterslide park, had my fortune told by this intense street gypsy, and ended up staying with pete dale. He was really awesome, + seemed to be the only one to give me a chance or whatever when all the other ppl, esp the queer collectives here, didnt want a barr (lol) of me. Rosie (ex pussycat trash/ month of birthdays) was meant to play on the bill too, but ended up pulling out, oh well.

It was cool to meet pete + chat about english queercore/punk, its all he really wanted to talk about also!!!

I found a nightnurse 7" in a record store here and was really excited about it until i put it on. Englsh queercore (early 90s == bad + way too grungey), esp Sister George seems so boring. Also, a sound bite from poison ivy on your reord? Yikes!!! i was always a little weirded out by that.
