Well i was just in brisbane for my boyfriends 18th Birthday. I made him this necklace out of clay, and painted it with that shiny paint they use for models. I think its called enamel?? The necklace is this mouth with a tongue poking out with extremely yellow teeth. There is a wicth symbol trip on the end of the tongue. It's actually the hysterical pregnancy logo, and it is meant to look like the rolling stones logo which is cheesy sounding but it looks good.

Last night i played with partyline in Melbourne, i got paid $150 which was SO ridiculously essential right now. i CANNOT work right now, and centrelink wont give me my payments. WHY? Hence, I have NOOOOO money at all! I have TOO MANY ideas and stuff i NEED to work on, and you know, develp. Working is just getting in the way. I might as well live ridiculously poor and jobless and keep making music and art as opposed to continuing on with MARKET RESEARCH. Ugh, never again. I'm serious this time!

UPDATE ON ME:

Im working on my solo show for the joint hassles galley at the moment, it will be opening mid november. Ive just been working on these slime/ goo/ twink insides sculptures + huge twink blood stained cloth + this sticker vortex or whatever.
I think i will call the show "PLAYLAND (WHERE TWINKS DIE)", but im not really 100% into that + also i know i can come up with something better/ that is more "ME". But perhaps i will stick with it? that weird post punk / whatever obsession with the worth die/ death imagery doesnt really seem as huge at the moment. Perhaps next i will bring back trucker hats. OBSESSED with trucker hats!!!!

Im trying to sort out a bunch of ALWAYS shows for December too, because ill be busy all of november with the show, etc etc. I'm playing with Partyline at the end of november at the TOTE. Next week i'm playing in sydney and in December im playing at the trough fag party and in Footscray at Shauns Summer Festival.

Also, Ive decided red Knight night are my new favourite melbourne band! I saw them play at the they shoot homos dont they launch, which i was upset not to be involved in, but you know, boohoo for me i guess.... R.K.N./ R.N.K. is Xtian, + chris, drums + vocals + Mariah Carey covers/ amazing vox.

Well Ive been in Sydney for the past week. It is nice to be somewhere "different" in australia, it was so super hard to come back to everyday life/ call centre work/ whatever in melbourne again. I dont understand how i am meant to survive after knowing i could be living in the USA.

While in Sydney i played two shows. One at this intense gay dance party + the other with ariel pink, Jack and I also did the photo shoot for the BUTT interview.

I'll be back in sydney on the 28th to play another show, with vincent over the sink. I need to move to Sydney!

I thought i would be away for so much longer, But i spent all the money, and had no shows left. Oakland + sanfrancisco are such a bitch to book. Ugh!

I was getting to the point of overdoing the couch surfing + it was time to come home + be creative again. Im going to put out a tape on Inverted Crux soon and then record more for a future release. Im in the group show at Joint Hassles in september. Oh, and I should finish making tshirts in time for the kevin blechdom show. Also I was asked to support Ariel pink in Sydney in october. I will do it although i was hesitant at first.

We just saw vaginal davis perform + present her movies. Last night we just hung out and took shrooms and went to this homo freak out party at the well. It was put on by these people i met in sanfransico. Everyone was on drugs and the girls were half naked + shirtless + screaming and flailing around like it was 1969.

I ate cheesy fries from this great diner that was playing the sue p.fox track offa "real fiction" by the fakes.

Its so cool running into olympian punk celebrities. again + again + again + again. I like how small this place is, to a certain degree.

I'm in the zine library right now. In the "personal" section, duh, where else would i be?!?!?

Were gonna get a ride back 2 frisco with these girls my friend scooby introduced me to the night of my show at jakes. They seem nice.

Ive still got shrooms in my jacket pocket. A woman was giving them out on the street, i wanna take them this afternoon and maybe jack + i can try n sneak in to see the headlining show tonight. MAYBE.

Well jack just traded his MINUTE/FLAG lp for dean's copy of "Real fiction" by the fakes for me!!! So super sweet. I'm so glad ive got it on LP again. I thought i would never find it! People seem to have it on CD but not vinyl, and also deans copy is all weirdly scratched up just like my old one.
Playing at ooga booga last night was fun.
LA is awesome, hollywood is where we are staying.

last night was fun, my favourite show yet. weasel walter was doing sound and i sounded like a dream. True!!!! I played after sharon cheslows two piece/ gutair noise thing which was awesome. On third was Dinky bits, seth from gravytrain!!!! and tina and the other girl from bobbyteens. They were fun, costumes + big hair.

I didnt even get any photos!! george chen was filming the show, then did some Q&A type thing on the street when i was drunk on salty tequila drinks + mute + on my way to piss.

I'm sure quintron and miss pussycat wouldve been cool if i couldve seen anything, and if i wasnt feeling like i was gonna ralph on account of making a late dinner out of the birthday cake. Gee, i hope it was vegan...... oops.

Hawnay troof, so good. I like the suit thing, different from the onstage underwear he was doing when he played in Australia. I was completely OBSESSED with mirror/dash. They played for like 10 minutes and each song was like 40 secs or a minute long, kim playing drums with hands, then dual sloppy guitar with breathy kim only vocals. I havent even seen sonic youth before, so i was flipping out i got to see mirror/dash + play on the same bill as them. I was hanging out back in the dressing room and they both seemed nice, I was just inhaling cake and talking about myspace with them. "Oh we wont let coco go on myspace."

I made some sales, so I was happy i guess. Enough to cover like half of my bus fare to LA. I was gonna ask friends forever if i could get a lift with them south but they didnt even make it to the show because one of the girls hurt her back or something. I was totally bummed i missed out on seeing them!!!!!!

its nice running into people i know here + feel like i know/ meeting people for the first time. I have had fun chilling with tyler and michelle and jenny and seeing the t.i.t.s. girls around sf who i played shows with in uk. I was totally worried last night because i didnt have a ride back from the bayarea but i ended up getting a lift back with kim.

I think jack and i are gonna get a lift with bianca and others up the coast after weve been in LA so i can make it to seattle on time for my show on the 26th. itll save us like heaps of dollars. I like the cheap mexican food here, so good, so cheap. $1.90 for a HUGE vegetariano taco. Michelle says there is a good place to go dumpstering on valencia. I have to pick up money from the show from chris. I wanna go to vegas, too. Maybe. My parents said they were totally freaked out by vegas, like kind of upset or something. Too big, too confusing.

i wanna be back in SF with jack for my birthday on august the 12th + to see death sentence: panda play + to do a bunch more always shows. Im leaving for LA tomorrow morning sometime. SF is TOO good. Did i mention i went to this queer party on thursday + met Gary fembot + gave him my 7" and was all like "STA PREST ARE ONE OF MY FAAAAAAAVOURITE BANDS!!!!" ???? hahaha. so good!!

on the way home from castro today i scored this awesome lisa suckdog video. it was like a dollar from this dumpy punk movie store on valencia. It wont work on an australian vcr but i watched it in michelles kicthen + ate popcorn and scarfed down grape treats this afternoon. It was intense. + had that woman "Debbey Puff" that i always remember reading lisa carver bitch about. She looked like the dreaded one from Babes in toyland. HANDSOME/ GRETEL!!!!!!!!!! (i bought that single in London. its an australian pressing, too.)

In Amobea berkely i found the SAVAGE MALIGNANT lucky 7 seven inch + the cypher in the snow single i dont have + i also got a yum yum tree single, but only because it was a two for one thing. i put back the suep.fox 7" because i had spent too much money that day + immediately thought of tyler testing me in the walgreens over a sour candy rg reference. HAHAHA!!!!!!!! we were on our way to see the flying Luttenbachers play. IN-TENSE!!!!

New york was cool. but SOOOO hot. I got really sick, too.
I think if i lived in NY i would reside in Brooklyn.
I got my portrait painted by emily, listened to the jellies record, ate salad.

Fried food is out the window, its true! All i want is cold crisp salad for dinner and lunch.
Heeeeeeeaps of dressing. But nothing creamy. ugh

American food is waaaaay too intense.

On saturday i am playing this show with Mirror/dash. How intense is that?? I cant wait to meet Kim Gordon!!! its gonna be a fun nite. Im playing first, but whatever, its cool!

Today when i was walking down haight i bumped into laurel. She looked really good, like a hippy version of raggedy anne. Amobea was OK. i got my favourite international strike force release on LP. so jack can have the cd.
I meet up with jack in LA on the 17th and were playing at the smell on the 21st.

I was gonna go see BARR tonight but i was too late + had no id on me.

new york is fun. washington dc show was good. I had fun playing. kiosk/ finallypunk/ awesome.
it was cool to see partyline + play with them/ drive to newjersey with them. Allison has endless gossip.
I played really badly in newjersey, I was in a strange mood. I liked the way it sounded, like through the amplifiers, in the basement, But If i feel rushed or whatever I cant really do it. I dunno, I was just being a freak!!!
it was cool to catch the boredoms live the other night. We were right in front of yoshimi in the 2nd row!
I wouldve really enjoyed lightning bolt if i couldve seen anything.
its super awesome to be back with jack + spending time + hanging + KISSING + sleeping together + swapping gifts + chillin on coney island.
i liked seeing the rita auckerman mural in coney island. above the fortune tellers and shooting games.
fortune tellers are a crock. Im sick of being told im troubled, depressed, will make it bigin the future, will live until im 84 and "everything will be better soon".

Well the UK was nice, but im all geared up + ready for the USA! Serious, Im soooo excited. HYPER! Just like below. I think i was BORN for the usa. I BREATH it, SWEAT it, FART it, etc etc etc. Old penpals, new friends, TASTY TASTY TASTY fast food, 2 million different bands to see + places to go. THEME PARKS!!!! omg, THEME PARKS!!!!!!!

Tanith and Chukkas wedding was really amazing + moving . I was so nervous!! I had TEARS in my eyes, i had to stop them from falling. TRUTH! I was just so stoked to be able to be there to witness my friends wedding. Tanith looked breathtaking, out of this world + mindblowing. I was semi uncomfortable in these weird slacks i bought at this vintage store that didnt really match my shirt. I was so worried about sweat patches and gross odours. But it was all fine.

Do you love that I met most of my friends through teenage punk zines?? SOOO intense!!! Riotgrrrl changed my life + im not talking about some crappy mix tape with curly wurly writing/glitter + the hits from spanking machine + the cd version of the first two records. Strong Lasting relationships!!! I started writing to tanith when i was like 15. So, weve known eachother ten years, intense. I'm sooooo pysched to finally meet my penpals from the usa!!! AMAZING!

It will be comforting to be reunited with Jack, + plays shows with kiosk in DC, newjersey, brooklyn + LA. So many presents, so many stories, etc etc etc. Cant wait for jack + i do the holidaying. Mexico Perhaps. + Also for tanith to properly meet him!! JACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brighton is so good, i cant believe i waited this long to come here. Now i want to stay longer, but i wanna get a free lift with t.i.t.s back to london to see them play with leopard leg tongiht. I stayed with some of the girls from leopard leg, they were sweet. I look forward to seeing them play.

The brighton show went well. I was totally hot + sweaty + dripping after just 1 minute on stage. It was at this anarchist bookshop/ coffee shop/ bar. We got this really nice free meal at the co-op or whatever it is called. I had this great pesto pasta dish with pinenuts, didnt touch the salad, but also enjoyed the cous cous dish. It has been my favourite crowd + best crowd yet.

Before the show i went to the amusement park on the pier and got my fortune told AGAIN. I swear I'm like addicted to it now! But it is an expensive addiction.

I havent even been record shopping here yet. Well i went to this place called punk bunkr but it was all boring hc stuff + oodles 'n' oodles of old maximum rocknrolls that lined the walls like insulation or something.

well newcastle ended up being super fun, i went to an indoor waterslide park, had my fortune told by this intense street gypsy, and ended up staying with pete dale. He was really awesome, + seemed to be the only one to give me a chance or whatever when all the other ppl, esp the queer collectives here, didnt want a barr (lol) of me. Rosie (ex pussycat trash/ month of birthdays) was meant to play on the bill too, but ended up pulling out, oh well.

It was cool to meet pete + chat about english queercore/punk, its all he really wanted to talk about also!!!

I found a nightnurse 7" in a record store here and was really excited about it until i put it on. Englsh queercore (early 90s == bad + way too grungey), esp Sister George seems so boring. Also, a sound bite from poison ivy on your reord? Yikes!!! i was always a little weirded out by that.

I got a couple of records for jack, but i had most of the ones that were available to buy. I think jack did too, but i got him the sally skull single and another record which is a suprise.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! i did get the pussycattrash/ razorblide smile 7" for like 1 pound. HOW COOL IS THAT?? The pct song is, "Alien shake." I love that song!!

Tomorrow milky wimpshake are playing. I think pete dale is getting a bit freaked out by me. Constantly messaging, asking him about records he played on and released like 12-13 years ago.

The other night I was lost + then flashed by this awful man in a tracksuit. It was on the street, just near buckingham palace.

I made always tshirts quickly last night for the american shows with help from liz.

Tomorrow im going to newcastle to see milkywimpshake play, then im going to brighton to play with t.i.t.s.
im excited to visit brighton. i hope there are good 2nd hand record shops.

there are no good 2nd hand record shops here in glasgow, only record i bought was lungleg/makeup split, but that was for jack because i already own it. I want to find old slampt records and seven inches released by beekeeper & piao!

Tonight i am playing with t.i.t.s + ariel pink. I am excited to see t.i.t.s. + im also excited about playing with twin in the usa, + seeing jack. I miss him! But it is so awesome to finally catch up with Tanith again, & meet Chucka.
The food here is cheap, not like I had heard, and the streets are littered with decaying chicken bones. My kind of place!!
I went to the last ever homocrime show last weekend. They seemd like they had a cool thing going on, i liked the bands. + djing. Its a pity it was the last of it.

I feel as if I am piece of meat here!
Constantly being mocked + jeered at (esp live) + grabbed at + bruised on the street in the bad neighbourhood I have been staying.
I am running myself poor from forever TREATING myself after being publicly himiliated again + again!
Tokyo Disney was fun.
I'm sure Japan is a great place... I just wasnt in the right places, + my new friend steve + his boyfriend i barhopped with on sunday night are totally awesome.

It was totally sweet of Shintaro to house me for two nights + take me drinking.

I miss jack too, so that is a contributing factor.
Good cheap record shopping. Suckdog, goldenstarlet, pussycattrash, warpath, gr'ups seven inches for like 50yen each.
Its gonna be incredible to be finally reunited with TANITH on saturday!!!!

At the end of the week i will be in New Zealand.
I have BIG PLANS for 2006.

Come back in late January, then I want to play in Brisbane or something. In the middle of feb im playing with calvin johnson
All I can do right now is drink - im a drinking machine - , hang out, daydream, smoke pot, write songs, practise songs, draw. Are you obsessed? Juss call me lil miss no-reality.
2006 I want to try and keep away from (the) WORKFORCE, try to make more money through shows and drawings, etc. I want to make a tape and some merchandise 2 sell at my show. Tshirts would be good but its kinda a little late for that.
